RealTime volumes are used to estimate the volumes used in bonus. This is to help the representatives know if they are getting close to qualifying for a new rank or bonus.
It is important to note that RealTime Volume Types are not direct representations of how volumes are calculated in Commissions/Bonus. The calculations used are generic and are not able to provide all of the dynamic options that are available in the commissions engine.

Back office view:
These Volume Types are created when the initial comp plan launches and go several years into the future. This example shows volumes set up through April 2022. This view also shows the lock date and whether the volumes will show in the volume reports in Revolution (see Extranet column).
They are broken down by the Genealogy types that are currently in use (Binary and Unilevel for this example).
If you click on the Edit button for a particular period, you can see what type of volume it is reporting on.
It can be setup for Commissionable Volume (CV) or Qualification Volume (QV). There are limits that can be used to only show volume from a set level depth of the current genealogy structure.
