¶ Simplified Taxes

Simplified taxes allow you to set tax rates at a State or Country level. This can be used for any product category that is used for your inventory.
¶ Navigation
To get to the Simplified Taxes, go to Administration > Settings > Taxes > Taxes.

¶ Usage
You can click on any row in the list and it will update the form on the right. This will give you options to Update or Delete an existing entry. You can also add a new entry to the table.
You can set multiple categories for each state as show above.
You may need to use a more specific tax rate based on City and/or County. These would be handled with our Taxes - Simple Extended method.
Please consult with your tax expert or consultant on what the tax rates should be and which tax method would be better to use for your business.
