This document will explain how to ensure that your genealogy structure is maintained properly.
Maintaining a clean genealogy will ensure that the Real-Time volume reporting is accurate.
Administration Department > Genealogy > Integrity Check
This will check for reps with missing sponsors, circular references, or other issues. There is a dropdown that will list all of your genealogies and an option for a Quick or a Full process.
The Quick Process is a narrower and quicker view into the exact Downline Reps causing the Circular Reference. The Full Process, although it takes considerably more time, will give a more comprehensive report on the entire downline and all Reps involved with Circular References and other issues.
Here is a the result of a Binary Integrity check (Full).
This shows 6 errors. There are 4 of them for reps that do not have an upline rep. This can happen if the reps are the top of the genealogy tree. If this rep is the corporate or Root rep, then this is okay. Otherwise, these reps (and their downline) will be outside of the main genealogy. You would need to edit each rep and make sure they are in the genealogy by placing them under an existing rep.
The other two reps (228548 and 228549) are downline from one of the reps that are missing an Upline rep. Since there is no upline rep for reps 228539 and 228544, those reps and their downline are outside of the main genealogy and will not count properly when running bonus.
After running a full integrity check, it is recommended to tun rebuild links.
Administration Department > Genealogy > Rebuild Links
The genealogy can become dirty if there have been changes to the placement of the reps. When a rep is cancelled or moved under a different rep, the links between them can become out of sync or dirty. This will affect the reporting of the Real-Time volumes that the reps see in Revolution.
Here is an example that shows a dirty genealogy.
As you can see in this example, there is a notice about a dirty genealogy. To fix this issue, just check the box next to the genealogy and click the Recalculate Volumes button.
Once this is done, you can also recalculate the Volumes noted at the bottom.
The example above also shows the date that this process was last completed. As this shows that it was over a year ago, there have been some changes to the genealogy that caused some issues.
It is recommended that you Rebuild the Links for all genealogies every time you run bonus. See Processing Commissions.
Administration Department > Genealogy > Reconstruct Unilevel
This option is rarely used. It assists in reconstructing the referential genealogy used in reporting for the sponsorship genealogy only. Typically, this is only needed to be run once after specific type of large rep import processes.
