¶ Group Items
Freedom has the ability to group multiple SKUs, or items, together to sell under a single SKU. This is referred to as a Group Item.
If the inventory group tax category is set to a different tax category than the individual items in that group, the inventory group tax category takes precedence.
¶ Configuring Group Items

In the Inventory Department, navigate to the item that will contain the group items.

On Item Dashboard, select the Pencil on the Group Items widget to edit.
- On the Edit Inventory Group page, search and add the items to the group. Items can be added in two ways:
- Quick Add: if you know the Item #, enter it into the Item # field, followed by a quantity
- Item List: Scroll down list, find the items to add to the group, and enter a quantity
There are additional weight and stock override options:
Parent Item Weight Override - When populated, the defined weight will override the weight of the entire group.
Parent Item Stock Override - If enabled, only the parent inventory Out of Stock/Low Stock conditions will be checked. If left disabled, all child inventory will be checked for Low Stock/Out of Stock conditions.
- Select Save once the desired items have been addded. Notice the highlighted message confirming the group was successfully saved.
- Return to the item's dashboard. Notice the item(s) added to the group are now listed in the Group Items widget.
Following these steps will result in successfuly adding group items to a single item.
