When creating an Order in the Back Office, you must first determine who the Order is for, aka who should the order be associated with; a Rep or Customer?
Once you've determined who you want associated with this new Order, please navigate to the desired Rep/Customer's dashboard in the Backoffice. This can be done by entering the Rep/Customer's ID in the Backoffice search field for Reps/Customers.
You'll be brought to the Rep/Customer's dashboard where you will want to navigate to the Order's summary and click ‘+’ in the upper right hand side. This will start the new order for that user.
When you are redirected to an Orders page, you will notice personal information is displayed for the desired associated user. At this point in the Order process, which you can edit later on, you have the ability to adjust the personal information on the Order. This includes the billing/shipping address, email address, and name that are prepopulated from the users account.
This also includes the Order Date, Order Type, and Market (if configured). The Order Date and Order Type is auto selected for the same date you physically create the Order and for the Order Type associated currently with that user. These options can be later adjusted if needed.
Orders placed from the shopping cart is done by going to the corporate page and clicking on the Shopping Cart icon.
The page will display items, prices, availability of the items, product categories, and filters. When an item is clicked, it will bring you to the item page which may include:
An order is a commercial document of transaction to confirm and keep track of the exchange of products or services.
It contains details about the Rep or customer - name, id number, billing and shipping addresses; and the transaction - order date and number, quantity and price of the items, status, market, shipping/delivery, and payment.
Orders are always associated with a Rep, but can also be owned by a customer and/or associated with a party. Orders can also be associated with other types of orders such as Replacement and Return orders.
