Now that your Freedom installation is provisioned, there a few foundational configurations that must be done.
Freedom Settings control various things throughout the Freedom applciation. The most common way to update settings is to use the Keyword Search. You may also choose to look through the differnt setting categories. It is important to note that some features of Freedom may require more than one setting to be fully enabled. When updating settings, please follow the instructions on the setup guide to ensure you are setting the configuration accurately.
Updating Freedom Settings
The name of your company is displayed based on the configuration of different Freedom settings. Below are a list of the Freedom settings you will need to update; be sure to follow the training for how to update Freedom settings to ensure the settings are published.

The terminology for a Rep and Customer should be configured first. These terms are used throughout Freedom and Revolution and are managed in either Freedom Settings or through Translations. Translations is the module that allows you to change all of the text content within Revolution where some keys are not linked to these settings. For these, please follow the training on Translation Tool.
The marketing site is set through this Freedom Setting: COMPANY_WEBSITE. Use the Keyword Search to find this setting to update your website.
If you will be using Shopify, you will need to update the following Freedom Setting: JSCART_REDIRECT_LINK to the URL of your Shopify Site in order to prevent users from being directed to the ByDesign Cart.
Some companies show volume in the format of money which the corresponding currency symbol. If you want to format volume reports to include the currancy symbol, please use Freedom Settings to set: VOLUME_FORMATMONEY.
The company addressed is used to display on the downloadable invoices or packslips if using Freedom to generate fulfillment batches. Because it is used in multiple places it is updated in different locations.
