Credits to Sponsor/ Referrer is a Promotion Action that will give credits to either the Referring Customer upon the posting of a customer order in which the Customer was a referral or the sponsor of the Rep upon the posting of a rep order.
Additionally, you can reward both the Referring Customer and their Rep for a customer referral order.

Description: A mandatory field for the name of the Action.
Start/End Dates: These dates determine how long this Action will be active.
Supported Promotion Types: Identifies what type of orders the Promotion will evaluate against.
Is this Promotion Discount Taxable?: Allows you to choose whether the item associated with this Promotion Action will contribute to the Rep's taxable income. You can set this as a taxable percentage or a flat amount.
Credit Account: A dropdown menu that determines which Credit Account the awarded Credits will be applied to.
Award To: The use of this field differs depending on the situation under which the Order is being placed.
For a Rep Order
For a Customer Order with a Referrer
For a Customer Order without a Referrer
Amount to Award: Dropdown menu that allows you to choose how the amount of credits to award is determined.
Flat Amount: Will award credits based on a flat amount. For example, if you enter 5.00, then 5 credits will be awarded.
Percent of Order Total: Will award credits based on a percentage of the total value of the order. For example, If you set the credit amount to 5 and the order total was $50 dollars, then the awardee will receive 2.5 credits.
Percent of Volume: Will award credits based on the percentage of a volume you select earned on the order. For example, If you set the credit amount to 5 and the volume awarded was 50, then the awardee will receive 2.5 credits. Utilize the Volume Field to choose the Volume Type this field calculates from.
Credit Amount: Determines what flat amount of credits to award or what percentage of credits to award based on your selection for Amount to Award.
Days Until Expiration: Dropdown menu that allows you to set an expiration date on the credits awarded.
Volume: Dropdown menu that allows you to decide the Volume Type to calculate off of if using the "Percent of Volume" selection for Amount to Award.
