This promotion condition limits a promotion to award consecutively across a rep or customer. Any prior consecutive promotions awarded will subtract from this promotion's consecutive evaluation.
For example, in a promotion that awards a free item for every 100 sold, a first order of 250 would award 2 items. If the next order was 70, the total consecutive would be 320, evaluating as 3 free items. However, if this limiter is configured, it would reduce the original 2 already awarded, giving only 1 free item.
Description: A mandatory field for the name of the Condition.
Start/End Dates: These dates determine how long this Condition will be active.
Supported Promotion Types: Identifies what type of orders the Promotion will evaluate against.
Consecutive Period: This is the period in which the consecutive evaluation will apply for. For example, a promotion could reset every year.
Promotion Condition: This is the condition that will be checked for the current period to limit. The prior evaluations will be subtracted from the result of this promotion condition.
Consider Entered Orders: For cash orders, entered orders may have to be considered. Otherwise, a prize may be given away on two seperate orders as the limiter won't detect the entered order. Then, when the orders are posted, the prize will award twice.
