This promotion condition requires a certain Sales in Public (retail) price.
Description: A mandatory field for the name of the Action.
Start/End Dates: These dates determine how long this Condition will be active.
Supported Promotion Types: Identifies what type of orders the Promotion will evaluate against.
- Standard Promo
- Post Promo
- Host Award Order
- Price Min: Determines the minimum price of item in Item # or Inventory Collection that are included in the current order in order to be eligible for promotion.
- Item #: Dropdown selection of Inventory Item to use in the promotion.
- Inventory Collection: Dropdown selection of Inventory Collection to use in the promotion.
- Periods: Selection of periods the promotion is applied.
- Current Order Only: When checked, this condition will evaluate against the current order and related orders. When unchecked, this condition will evaluate the condition using the date range for the rep/customer only.
- Include Related Orders: If the "current order only" field is selected, this option allows the condition to also include any orders that are linked to the current order, either through sub orders or parties. Sub orders is a way to link multiple orders together, typically through a customization.
- Start/End Dates: These dates define which dates to check for past orders in, whereas the primary start/end dates of the condition determine which dates the promotion condition will be evaulated in.
- Exclude Promotional Items from Calculation: If checked this condition will skip any promotional awarded items from the calculation. This is only used for post promotions as standard promotions evaluate all promotions before awarding, and thus naturally skip any promotional items from the calculation.
- Reps or Customers: When evaluating prior orders (not including current order), this allows limiting the orders considered from either reps, customers, or both. If configured as Current Order Only, this field is not used (ignored). Consider the following examples for how this is evaluated:
- Example #1: Customers Only selected, Rep places an order. The promotion will consider only orders coming from that Rep's customers.
- Example #2: Customers Only selected, Customer places an order. The promotion will consider only orders placed from the customer placing the order.
- Example #3: Reps Only selected, Customer places an order. The promotion will not consider any orders.
- Example #4: Reps Only selected, Rep places an order. The promotion will only consider non customer orders from the Rep placing an order.
- Example #5: Reps and Customers (inclusive) selected, Rep or customer places an order. The promotion will consider all the orders placed by the rep or their customers.
- Example #6: Reps and Customers (exclusive) selected, Rep places an order. The promotion will consider all the orders placed by the rep or their customers.
- Example #7: Reps and Customers (exclusive) selected, Customer places an order. The promotion will consider only orders placed from the customer placing the order.
- Exclude Inventory Collection: Selection of Inventory Collection to exclude from the promotion.
