¶ Revolution Free Text Page
The Revolution Free Text Page allows you to create a completely custom page using HTML. This newly created page can be inserted into Revolution Menus or linked on other widgets or pages that utilize HTML.
¶ Page Features
- Page Type ID - This needs to be set to Revolution Free Text Page
- Description - This is the title of the page that will display when you are on the page.
- Active - If not checked, the page will not load or display, even if linked to.
- Page Key - This is how you determine the URL of the page. This will need to be unique from other Page Keys and not contain any formatting disallowed by traditional URL rules (i.e. spaces, commas, periods)
The link format is ~/page/{key} where key represents whatever is entered into the Page Key field.
Example: tools.bydesign.com/{Company}/page/ExampleKey where ExampleKey is what was input into the Page Key field.
- Text Editor/Raw HTML - This is where you insert the content that will be displayed on the page. It is recommended to use Raw HTML for this Page Type in order to create a visually impressive page.
¶ Field Tags
- {REPNUMBER} - This allows you to insert the Rep Number of the user currently viewing the page.
- {REPNAME} - This allows you to insert the name of the Rep currently viewing the page. This will display as First Name Last Name.
- {REPEMAIL} - This allows you to insert the email of the Rep currently viewing the page.
- {REPURL} - This allows you to display the custom Replicated Site URL of the Rep currently viewing the page.
- {WIDGET} - This allows you to insert any active Revolution Widget into the page.
¶ Adding Widgets
Using the {WIDGET} field tag you can insert active Revolution widgets into this page. This may be used to provide visual data to reinforce the content of the page or any number of other creative uses. You can insert multiple widgets into a page.
When you select the {WIDGET} Field Tag from the side bar, you will get a popup with a selection of which Widget you wish to insert.
