¶ Inventory Collections
Inventory Collections are a multi-purpose feature in the system. They can be used in:
- Inventory Control Limits: Used to apply the same control limits to a distinct selection of items
- Reporting: Used to report on a distinct selection of items
- Promotions: Used to determine items that are conditions or awarded as part of a selection in the action
¶ Configuring an Inventory Collection
Departments > Inventory >> Administration > Inventory Collections > New
- Description: The label used to identify the collection
- Sort Order: Determines the order in which this collection appers during order entry
- Category Type: The category associated with this collection
- Load Collection: Optional - use this filter and load items below.
- Duplicate Collection: Load items from an existing inventory collection to create a new collection with this Description.
- Inventory +-: Add or remove inventory items in this collection
