¶ Setting Up International
As you expand internationally, it may become necessary to expand how you communicate with your field. This can include differences in dialect as well as different languages. Freedom supports a broad range of Languages and dialects referred to a Locales. There are a few details that can sometimes be difficult to explain and there are fees involved with enabling multiple languages.

¶ Languages Licenses
There are costs to use more than one language. These are handled through Language Licenses.
¶ Currency Conversion
Freedom has the ablility to convert the base currency, usually U.S. Dollars, to foreign currency. To do this, the conversion rate must be entered into Freedom here:
Administration > Settings > Currency > Currency Conversion Rates
This is static rate, so if the conversion rate changes, it would need to be manually udpated here.
¶ Configurations
If the payout for other territories is going to be converted by the payout bank, then these would not need to be set up in Freedom.
Warehouses in Freedom are used to house orders and prepare them for shipping and fulfillment. With a properly configured warehouse, orders can be batched out to create pack slips and invoices. It is beneficial to create multiple warehouses if you have different fulfillment centers in different regions and want items to be shipped from the closest location.
Some Freedom settings can be used on a territory level rather than a global level. These are indicated in the Freedom settings here:
Access to these settings might be restricted. If you use many different territories (countries) and feel the need to access these settings, please contact ByDesign Support to have this access granted.
Go to Admin > Settings > Freedom Settings > Territory Based Settings
There is a dropdown to select a territory to view that territory's settings. You can also view indivdual settings using the search and see what is set for all territories.
¶ Terms and Policies
You can have different Terms and Polices for each country or locale. You can also use Territory collections to apply the Terms and Polices for all of the countries in a collection.

¶ Promotions
Promotions use conditions to qualify customers to be eligible to receive a specific promotion. These conditions include Country and State, so you can have promotions that are only avialble to people with in a particular country or state.
¶ Revolution Widgets
The widgets used on the Revolution home page can be configured to be specific to a certain country/locale.
