¶ Revolution Menu Types
Revolution supports a number of customizable menu types. For other menu options or for instructions on how to create/edit existing Revolution Menus, please see Revolution Menus.
GOTO and GOTO2 are special commands used to load a desired page in a iFrame within Revolution. GOTO includes the logo and menu header as well as older classic left menus used for the area. GOTO2 only includes the menu and logo header from revolution with the iFrame allowed more visual area within the page. Note that the classic left menus are uncomon and not the same as the newer left menu configurations.
When using GOTO or GOTO2, the menu URL should be formatted as department/command/uniquename.

The page to load in the iframe must be from a secure site using HTTPS and not HTTP. The URL to be loaded is populated into the iFrame URL in the menu configurations. It is possible to use relative paths in the iFrame URL, but this only supports loading legacy Extranet pages into the iFrame. SSO or Single Signon is supported with GOTO and GOTO2 menus by passing a Rep SSO GUID using the {RepGUID} field tag in the iFrame URL.

Depending on your preference, GoToUrlWithLeft in place of GOTO, or you can use GoToURL in place of GOTO2.

The URL to be loaded is populated into the iFrame URL in the menu configurations. SSO or Single Signon is supported with GOTOREDIRECT and GOTOREDIRECT2 menus by passing a Rep SSO GUID using the {GUID} field tag in the iFrame URL.

To make a User (FDW) Report visible in Revolution, ensure that the "Allow Report on Revolution" chekbox on the User Report Create/Edit page is checked:
Then, navigate to:
Freedom > Administration > Revolution > Menu
On the next page, click New.
¶ Configure the Menu item:
- Application: Select Revolution Web
- Parent Menu: Select the parent menu under which the report will appear
- Display Name: The title of the report (e.g., Top Sales Report)
- URL: Use the following format, replacing with the actual report ID:
/report/view/<User Report ID> - Target: How should the report open?
_self– Opens in the same window/tab_blank– Opens in a new window or tab
- Roles: Limit who can see this menu item. Enter
*to make it visible to all Reps. Contact Support if you want to add additional Roles - Sort Order: Determines the vertical position of the menu item
- Rep Type: Restricts visibility to specific Rep Types
- Rank Type Range: Restricts by rank range
- Rep Collection: Restricts by rep collection
- Active: Check to activate the menu item
- Associate Territories: Restrict by territory

¶ Validate in Revolution
Go to the Revolution dashboard of a Rep > Click on the Parent menu e.g. Resources > Click on the new menu item created e.g. Top Sales Report > Validate that the report opens:

Revolution page templates are custom pages that can be added to revolution through configurations.

Resource Categories are defined in the ResourceCenter. Files are uploaded in the Resources Center and then linked to one or more categories.
Menus can also be configured to point to a specific file in resources using the [PATH_EXTRANET] field tag in the URL of the menu. This would be in the format of [PATH_EXTRANET]/Personal/Resources/FileName.Ext.
