¶ Inventory Price Bonus Values
Inventory Price rows include volume (or weighted values) used in the calculation of commissions. This includes values used for qualifications and/or commissions. The system is able to support up to 4 Volume values and up to 4 Other Price values used in the compensation plan. The names of these columns are configured during the deployment of the compensation plan. The names, definitions, and usages of these values are specific to the compensation plan and version in use.
When an item is purchased, these values are copied to the order for use by commissions and real-time volume reporting. Promotions, Party Rewards, Gift Certificates, Credits, and manual backoffice edits to the price rows can change the saved volumes on the order.
Changes to the Volume and Other Price values in inventory price rows do not retroactively impact orders already placed, or impact entered orders where the item is already added. The changes will only affect orders placed in the future.
It is important to note that if there is a discrepancy in Volume or Other Price values and they did not come from the above circumstances, the price row was likely edited after the order was placed.
